I am reading Chronicles of Narnia Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe with one of my students. C.S. Lewis is known for having biblical parallels in his books. We discuss these parallels. It is very interesting, because we read a chapter today of where the beavers meet the four kids for the first time. The beaver was scared of the White Witch and her allies. The beaver was wandering in the forest looking for these kids, and when he found them he whispered this message, "They say Aslan is on the move..." What it must have been like to hear about others in the time of Jesus who risk their lives whispering, "They say Jesus is coming here, they say He is the Son of God." Those taking risks Spread the word around knowing of the consequences from higher authorities of the Land with potential punishment of death. I take for granted being able to say the name of Jesus in public, but there are those today who suffer when they speak of Jesus in public. Say a pray for those who are willing to be that strong in the Lord and rejoice for the freedom you have to speak of Jesus Christ.
