¹⁰ “If anyone is to go into captivity,
   into captivity they will go.
If anyone is to be killed^[c] with the sword,
   with the sword they will be killed.”^[d]
   This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of God’s people. -Revelation 13:10.

Patient endurance and faithfulness.  Continuous work without giving up and always do good works and believe in the one who created us.  Easier said than done, but I can see why you will need patient endurance and faithfulness.  Because you will not be successful or make it out alive.  Alive in sense of the soul not physical well being.  The whole book of Revelation is very difficult to find the meaning, but this verse compares the journey of challenging non believers.  This beast is powerful, but the only way to withstand its power is to be patient and rely on God always.  Like I said, Easier said than done.
