AVB, an acappella band, performed a song called Give.  Their chorus for the song is give and it will be given to you.  This phrase is true.  Luke 6:38, "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”  What does it refer to?  What first comes to mind is peace, joy, and love.  God will give back to you as well. The Biblical answers.  But what I truly think is, "God, you let events happen that I do not see.  People are touched by others that I am not told about.  But in every instance of giving, your presence is here, in that moment of giving."  The it is God showing himself to us.  Letting us know of his existence and for that single moment when someone is truly thankful for others generous giving, life stands still and God reveals himself.
