¹ The LORD is my light and my salvation—
   whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the stronghold of my life—
   of whom shall I be afraid?

Psalm 27:1

What are you afraid of?  Do you have fears or worries?  There are things I am afraid of.  Snakes, don't mind them but do not want to be near them.  Found out the other day, I am afraid to use my head in soccer.  It hurts and I do not like it.  Those are silly things, but I'm also afraid to lose my parents, other family, and friends.  I fear for my friends and students, meaning those who do not know God or believe in God.  What happens if there is no tomorrow, where do they stand in the sight of God?  I do not truly know. 

Psalms 27 says do not fear anyone or anything.  I do not often think about these fears, but they do come up.  
So what are you afraid?  Does the fear hold you back from doing something in your life?  Or does it drive you to do something in your life?  Ask you yourself these questions and know the only fear you should experience is fear in the Lord.
