    Wednesday April 4

In the tonight's grammar class, we did an exercise on choosing three most important things you want in life from a list and explain your choices.  We had similar and different answers, as expected, but their reasoning was unique.  One item I did notice many Italians choose was Good Health.  Everyone had on their top three list.  I asked why this was so, and their answers were you can not do much if you have bad health.  They seem to live by the phrase at least I have my health.  I did try to make a point of how many people who seem to have "bad health" impact lives of many others.  Those seem to get the most out of life.  Italian minds are not in tune with this idea of someone using their "bad health" as a strength in life.

Romans 12:6-8, "6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; 7 if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; 8 if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully"

We can use our with good or bad health.  God may even be using your bad health to strengthen others, if you have the right attitude about the situation.

    In Brotherly Love,
